Join us at our Next Series of Flexibility Classes and Learn Something NEW in 2012!
With the routine of these small classes where we will teach and practice specific flexibility stretches, we hope that you will be inspired to incorporate them into your daily activities at work or at home so you may move through life with more ease and less pain! Lower Body Classes (lunch time) to begin on February 14th at noon Dates: Feb 14, 21, 28, March 13 and 20th Upper Body Classes (after work) to begin on March 5th at 6 pm Dates: March 5, 12, 19, 26 and April 2nd Learn and practice how to reduce postural tightness, reduce the risk of muscle injury, optimize range of motion and more! Our upper body class focuses on shoulder, neck, arm, wrist and hand flexibility. Ward off common problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, neck strain and TMJ syndrome with these specific stretches. Our lower body class focuses on the legs, hips, back and feet. Address lower back pain, maintain good circulation in your feet and address common foot and leg problems.
The entire series of FIVE classes costs ONLY $125 (payment at the first class). Stretching ropes and manuals are extra. Stretching ropes are available for purchase. They cost $8 each and 75% of the proceeds are donated to Access Fund for Climbers. A stretching rope will be provided for use in the class, but students should bring a stretching mat for the lower body class and dress appropriately. Correct Physical Imbalances and Learn to Relax Your Tense Muscles! |
Improve the Flexibility and the Function of Your Muscles with PHASE Yoga Training.
These very small classes will focus on each PHASE of a yoga pose and they are designed to assist in correcting your form and your physical imbalances caused by your body's tendency to specialize. If you have tense muscles which hinder your activities and daily routine, these classes will assist you to tune in and allow you to let go of this pattern of tension! While these classes are especially useful for athletes to avoid injury and over training, anyone who has chronic pain from inefficient, repetitive movement will benefit from these personalized sessions. No matter what your fitness goal, PHASE Fitness Yoga will give your mind and body the tools to succeed. Since each class will have no more than 4 participants, you will receive hands on instruction rather than just watching a demonstration in a crowd.
