Alexandra Lopez completed her massage training at the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This 700-hour program included a focus on Cayce/Reilly Massage and various modalities such as: Asian Theory, Jin Shin Do, Reflexology, Swedish, Neuromuscular/Myofascial and Chair Massage. She has completed additional courses of study in Aromatherapy, Sports Massage and CranioSacral Therapy to augument to her skills as a massage therapist.

Prior to beginning her studies in massage therapy in 2004, Alexandra worked for 12 years in the medical field assisting physicians and treating patients therapeutically in ophthalmology. Alexandra has her bachelor of science degree from George Mason University in the field of neuro-psychology. Having always been interested in how emotions affect our bodies, this led her to continue studying psychoneuroimmunology at the Institute of Mental Health. Alexandra also worked in medical research at the NIH, looking at the relationship between our emotions and health as well as the benefits of therapeutic touch.
